It's raining planes in Saudi Arabia! 🇸🇦✈️
Riyadh Air (RX) just announced an order for 60 A321neo aircraft at the FII summit in Riyadh.
Reuters quoted Riyadh Air's CEO, stating that deliveries would begin in 2026, and that the second widebody campaign would see the A350-1000 and 777X in contention.
KSA's fleet is set to triple from the current ~250 aircraft to over 750, possibly before the end of the decade, adding impetus to Vision 2030. This number would certainly be even higher with Riyadh Air's second widebody campaign and any sequential NB order. Flyadeal's widebody aircraft orders are also likely to materialise soon.
Below is a snapshot of the current fleet and orders.
